Network Operations Centre Operator
As a NOC Operator you will support the Afilias registry network monitoring team to assess Network Performance on a real time basis. You will directly report to the Network Operations Center Technical Lead. Additional responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to; providing technical guidance to Afilias Customer Support Team, identifying and escalating Infrastructure, Systems & Network impacting events and supporting root cause analysis efforts.
Main purpose of the position
To support and maintain production applications, monitoring systems, systems infrastructure
and services in co-operation with other members of the Production Control team and other
Operations teams at Afilias.
Key responsibilities
o Investigate, evaluate and recommend new technologies which may include interacting
with vendors and external clients
o Develop and provide training to all Production Control Administrators on new
technologies or procedures
o Act as third level support for customer problems (on call after hours)
Senior Linux/Windows System Administrator
Reporting to the Team Lead, Systems Engineering; the Senior Linux/Windows System Administrator will work as a member of the server and storage support team.
