WIPO Will Be The Exclusive Provider Of Dispute Resolution Services for .INFO
NEW YORK, NY – May 3, 2001 – Afilias, the registry selected by ICANN to operate the new .INFO top-level domain (TLD), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) today announced an agreement whereby WIPO will provide dispute resolution services for .INFO during the Sunrise Period. The Sunrise Period is a 30-day period, prior to the opening of public registration, where trademark and service mark holders will be able to reserve their exact marks in the .INFO domain.
Afilias CMO Roland LaPlante will be a speaker at this event, which provides a unique opportunity to discuss successful growth and innovation strategies by established and next-generation brands to inspire your own growth plans. With attendee registrations capped and a program designed to foster audience engagement, High-Velocity Growth will not be your everyday business conference.
Global registry services provider Afilias today announced the sunrise launch dates for three new generic top-level domains (gTLD): .PINK, .RED and BLUE.
With the .PINK, .RED and .BLUE domains, Afilias is the first registry to offer truly colorful ways to express yourself on the Internet. No longer are site owners restrained to drab domain addresses. Now, your Web address can express your individual enthusiasms!
There's a lot more to launching a new top-level domain than coming up with a unique gTLD (or even your own dot Brand). Here a just a few of the many items you have to be ready to handle:
