Internet Operations Specialist

The Internet Operations Specialist will join the Content Propagation and Resolution team ("CPR"). CPR is responsible for running the DNS of over 10% of the Internet, as well as devising and providing support for emerging protocols on the 'Net. In this role, the Internet operations specialist will design and implement the supporting infrastructure to run name-services applications in a globally distributed environment.

The Internet Operations Specialist may also take an active lead in developing and shaping the future of the Internet by working within the Internet community to define, build and implement emerging technologies.

Senior Network Engineer

Network Operations Centre Analyst

As a NOC Analyst you will support the Afilias registry network monitoring team to assess Network Performance on a real time basis. You will directly report to the Network Operations Center Team Leads. Additional responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to; providing technical guidance to Afilias Customer Support Team, identifying and escalating Infrastructure, Systems & Network impacting events and supporting root cause analysis efforts.

Technical Account Manager

Afilias is a global provider of Internet infrastructure services that connect people to their data. Afilias' technology supports a wide range of applications including Internet domain registry services, premium DNS, and applications in the New TLD business. Afilias began operations in July 2001 with the launch of the top-level domain registry for .INFO. Today, Afilias supports a more diverse base of TLDs than any other registry services provider.

Systems Administrator

Main purpose of the position

To configure, support and maintain Afilias’ custom-built software in pre-production and production environments.  Work with members of Operations, Development and Quality Assurance departments to plan, schedule and promote changes to production systems.

Key responsibilities

• perform system administration tasks in a third-party hosted environment with a focus on maintaining Afilias' production software (e.g install software, troubleshoot system problems to effective resolution)

Internet Operations Specialist

Afilias is looking for a well-rounded engineer and operator to join our DNS Infrastructure Group (DIG). DIG is responsible for running authoritative DNS for more than 10% of the Internet's top-level-domain namespace. Qualified candidates will have significant experience in critical infrastructure and authoritative DNS operations, and a very high level of protocol-level subject-matter expertise in DNS, DNSSEC and related-and-emerging technologies.

Sr. Manager, Customer Care

Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the Director of Customer Care will be responsible for customer contact operations encompassing all Afilias product lines and services.​ You will provide general support and direction to management and leadership personnel in all areas of customer service operations and technical support operations up to Tier II.​ You will ensure the smooth operation of the 7x24 department and function, which have staff globally, under your management.​

Responsibilities

Participate throughout the design and development process, analyzing features to point out weaknesses or inconsistencies.
